August 26, 9:00 pm. Everyone met at the theatre. Someone took pictures of the actors. Playwrights drew subjects from a hat. Everyone went home. All seven playwrights wrote all night. Produced a 10-15 minute play each. August 27, 6:00 am. Seven directors returned, picked their plays. Used the pictures from last night to cast their plays. August 27, 8:00 am. About 50 actors returned, met their directors, and got their scripts and roles. August 27, 8:01 am. Actors do first read-through. August 27, 8:15 am. Blocking begins. August 27, 8:30 am. Full rehearsal starts. August 27, 12:00 noon. Lunch. Rehearsal resumes. August 27, 12:30 pm. Actors start to worry about learning lines. August 27, 4:30 pm. Actors run full show on stage, off-book. August 27, 8:00 pm. The show opens. August 27, 10:00 pm. The show closes. August 27, 10:30 pm. Cast parties convene around the city.
